Don’t travel until emergency:Indian Railways

NewDelhi: The Rail Ministry on Saturday urged people to avoid all non-essential travel after 12 people, who have travelled by two different trains recently, tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

The Indian Railways said that eight of 12 passengers had travelled from Delhi to Ramagundam on AP Sampark Kranti Express on March 13 while the other four had travelled on Godan Express from Mumbai to Jabalpur on 16th March.

In order to avoid the virus from spreading, the railways has asked people not to travel on passenger and long-distance trains unless absolutely necessary.
