Lockdown: Lenovo and Motorola extend the warranty for all smartphones and accessories
New Delhi: Smartphone makers Lenovo and Motorola are the latest to announce warranty extension on their products amid coronavirus lockdown. Both the companies on Friday announced that it would offer a free global warranty extension during COVID-19.
“Keeping customer centricity as our primary objective, Lenovo and Motorola are leveraging the full strength of our global business operations to maintain services support and minimize any potential impact on customers worldwide during this challenging time of COVID-19 pandemic,” the company said in a statement on Friday.
Who will get benefit
Lenovo and Motorola customers should note that the companies are offering a free global warranty extension for up to 75 days through May 31, 2020, for all smartphones and accessories. It’s worth noting that the warranty extension is applicable for devices that had their warranty ending between March 15 through April 30, 2020.
