Will quit politics if audio clips of BS Yeddyurappa are proven fake, says HD Kumaraswamy

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Saturday said he will quit politics the audio clip released by him on BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa, purportedly, luring JD(S) lawmakers with bribes, are proven to be fake.

Kumaraswamy earlier claimed that BJP as part of its ‘Operation Kamala’ tried to lure Janata Dal (Secular) MLAs in order to topple Congress-JD(S) government in the state. He also released audio clip, purportedly, of a conversation between BJP State Chief BS Yeddyurappa and Kandkur’s son Sharana, in which Yeddyurappa allegedly made the offer. He released the clip during a press conference hours before the presentation of the state budget in the Assembly.
