Harnaaz Sandhu became only the third Indian woman to bring home the title. The first two were Sushmita Sen (in 1994) and Lara Dutta (2000).

Harnaaz is an alumna of Chandigarh’s Post Graduate Government College Sector 11 and also a Punjabi film actress. Coincidentally, Harnaaz was born the year Lara Dutta was crowned Miss Universe, in 2000. She is 21 years old now.
She has also starred in Punjabi films like ‘Yaara Diyan Poo Baran’ and ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’, which will release in 2022.
Harnaaz Sandhu hails from a Sikh family in Chandigarh.
Harnaaz Sandhu is fluent in three languages: English, Hindi and Punjabi.
Harnaaz Sandhu has been winning pageants since her teenage, including Miss Chandigarh 2017.
Harnaaz Sandhu’s last win before being Miss Universe 2021 was Miss Diva 2021.
