Anti-Corruption Team Nabs Khadi Gram udyog Inspector Taking Bribe
Bareilly: In a major crackdown, the Anti-Corruption team in Bareilly caught Khadi Gram udyog Department Inspector Aditya Kumar red-handed while accepting a bribe on Tuesday. The inspector was apprehended while taking ₹20,000 from an individual.
Trap Laid After Complaint
According to reports, the complainant informed the Anti-Corruption department that Inspector Aditya Kumar had demanded ₹20,000 to facilitate his work. Upon verifying the complaint, the team devised a plan and laid a trap to catch the inspector in the act. As soon as the accused accepted the bribe money, the team arrested him on the spot.
FIR to be Filed at Baradari Police Station
Following the arrest, the accused inspector was taken to Baradari Police Station, where the process to register a case against him under the Prevention of Corruption Act has begun. This action by the Anti-Corruption team has sent shockwaves through government circles.
