BCCI defends New Zealand tour scheduling after Virat Kohli’s ‘landing at the stadium’ remark
Mumbai:Virat Kohli looked at his sarcastic best as he was asked about the scheduling of the New Zealand tour, the first match of which will be played just four days after the conclusion of the ODI series against Australia in Bengaluru. The skipper displayed a bit of wit as he made ‘landing at the stadium’ remark in the press conference on the eve of the first T20I. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), however, have defended the scheduling suggested if Kohli had an issue, it could’ve been raised earlier to the management and not in front of media.
