Budget 2020: FM Sitharaman meets President Ram Nath Kovind before Budget presentation

New Delhi: The Narendra Modi-led NDA government is all set to present its second Union Budget after the 2019 general election win in May last year. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present her second Budget in Parliament today. The Budget speech is likely to begin at 11 am. Ahead of the Budget presentation, the government on Friday revised downwards the economic growth rate for 2018-19 to 6.1 per cent from 6.8 per cent estimated earlier.FM Nirmala Sitharaman, MoS Anurag Thakur and the Finance Ministry team are met  President of India Ram Nath Kovind.
