UP man beaten to death during scuffle

Shahjahanpur: A 58-year-old man was killed and another injured during a scuffle between two families here, police said on Monday, adding four persons have been detained in connection with the case.

On Sunday night, the clash erupted between two families after a fight between their children in Satna village that falls under Roja police station area, Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjay Kumar said.

Both the parties resorted to sticks and Firasat was beaten to death, the SP said, adding his body was sent for postmortem

The injured man, identified as Guddu (25), was being treated at a hospital.

A case has been registered against six persons and four of them have been detained.
