Virat dances Nagin Dance after historic win by Indian cricketers
#IndianCricketTeam finally earned their maiden Test series win in Australia on Monday. Virat Kohli became the first ever Indian skipper to achieve the remarkable feat as he led from the front to help India claim the four-match Test series 2-1 after rain-affected fourth Test ended in a draw. Wins in Adelaide and Melbourne ensured it was India who lifted the trophy at the SCG.
India had shown flashes of brilliance in Test series against South Africa and England last year but never managed to convincingly outplay their opponents. However, the team came together in phenomenal fashion in Australia to put on a comprehensive display throughout the series. India were the better of the two sides with both bat and the ball, dominating the proceedings.
Buoyant after the historic win, Indian players celebrated in emphatic fashion with a full-fledged round of dancing in the team hotel along with the Bharat Army. The official supporters group joined the players in the team hotel as everyone danced on the song ‘Mere desh ki darti.’ Captain Kohli led charge showing off some Naagin Dance moves as well.
